Paul Iskov of pop-up dining outfit Fervor is coming to Stellar Violets to give an 8-course truffle degustation lunch in just two weeks time! Our event is part of Manjimup’s festival of the year, The Truffle Kerfuffle, from June 24-June 26. It’s rather exciting, for the first time, we’ll host an event in our train carriage and garden, with one of WA’s most celebrated, and gifted chefs.
Paul dropped by our garden last Spring for a project with photographer Jess Shaver. We’d already met at one a Fervor pop-up earlier in the year. Foraging in the garden with Paul was fun, his enthusiasm for native foods catching.
Jess took some beautiful shots of our Spring time foraging.
Paul later cooked the garlic scapes, broad beans, edible blooms and warrigal greens into a dish almost too beautiful to eat.
